pH Meter
When measuring the pH of water for your swimming pool or spa, you can use the standard chemical test strips with the colour pads, or you can use a digital pH meter.
Using the test strips is fine but not accurate as it relies on our ability to see colour, and also our ability to match as closely as possible to a colour chart. That is why using a digital pH meter is a more accurate and consistent method of reading pH.
A buffer solution is included with this pH meter. The buffer solution allows the user to calibrate the pH meter, thereby giving a precise reading when measuring liquid. It is recommended that you calibrate the meter prior to using, for best results. I have found that when i do calibrate, this meter is never out of spec.
The digital pH meter can be used to measure the pH of water in many areas such as aquariums, spas, swimming pools, photographic processes, hydroponics and any other places where a pH reading needs to be taken.
