Bosch PMF 180 E Multi Tool

Bosch PMF 180 E Multi Function ToolThe Bosch Multi Tool model PMF 180 E has to be one of the most versatile, and handy little tools available on the market today.

Although the PMF 180 E is not out of Bosch’s blue series (Professional Tools Range). It can’t be said it does not do a professional job. As with Bosch’s other tools, and this one being no exception, the PMF 180 E is supplied in a plastic green case. Also included in the case is the PMF 180 E’s user manual which is written in several languages to cater for an international market. Supplied with the PMF 180 E Multi Tool is a delta sanding plate (curved triangular shape), a packet of six red wood-top sanding sheets of various abrasive grades, a Bi-metal segment saw blade, a HCS plunge-cutting saw blade, and an Allen key to allow you to change between the different blades and sanding plate.

Having used this tool for several DIY projects around the home, I can honestly say that I would now be lost without it, as I am sure you will also find after using one.

The Bosch PMF 180 E is the perfect solution when cutting in confined spaces or sanding is required. This Multifunction tool is extremely impressive with its versatility.

To change blades or install the sanding plate on the Bosch PMF 180 E is relatively easy due to the single screw principle. Firstly make sure the multifunction tool is unplugged from the power point to prevent it being switched on whilst changing blades. Then using the supplied Allen key simply unscrew the attachment holding screw. Each blade and sanding pad have little guide holes which will engage with the small guide pins (toolholder) surrounding the base of the Bosch PMF 180 E. Simply position the blade onto these pins (toolholder) then re-insert the attachment holding screw and tighten. The guide pins prevent the blades from rotating whilst oscillating and also allow the user to change the angle of the blades being used. This will give greater flexibility when hard to access areas are encountered.

When replacing a blade with the delta sanding plate, the same procedure is followed. Then to install the sanding sheet, simply place the sanding sheet onto the base of the delta sanding plate. The delta sanding plate is equipped with a durable micro Velcro-type fastening system. This allows you to change sanding sheets quickly and easily. Just pull off the old sanding sheet and attach the new one.

The Bosch PMF 180 E Multi tool is powered by a powerful 180w motor which ensures sustained performance. Low vibrations and infinitely adjustable electronics ensure complete comfort and convenience when operated.

The Bosch PMF 180 E can be used in the tightest places where it would be hard to reach with other types of tools either electric or manual.

Enhancing the Bosch PMF 180 E Multifunction tool is the wide selection of accessories. An ergonomic design has been incorporated into the PMF 180 E which allows it to be used by both left and right handed operators.

The Bosch PMF 180 E Multi tool is in all seriousness an absolute pleasure to use, and makes for an essential tool for all DIY enthusiasts. The PMF 180 E is a great addition to anyone’s tool box.
